Description
Here's a picture of everything in the Etrian Odyssey Untold demo! The demo is currently available from the Nintendo eShop for free, and the full version is available on October 1.
I absolutely looove the previous game, Etrian Odyssey IV! I played it for many hours, and I love it so much, I'm playing it over again! When I started playing the demo, I was a little disappointed by the differences between the two games, but after a while I began to fall in love with Untold. There are many similarities that tie all the games together, but the new features in this release are excellent. Although creating your own team is not available in the demo, many great features are, such as several quests and much of the first dungeon.
Many new features were added that help getting through dungeons quicker, such as pressing the B button to walk faster, and holding the A button in battles to move them along a lot quicker. There is also a new item called a Grimoire Stone, which sometimes duplicates itself in battles, and when equipped, gives free stat boosts and even Skills! The Skill tree has been revamped as well, allowing more stat boosts, and more great skills.
Any RPG fan, new or old, will love this game, especially if they are fans of the Etrian Odyssey series or other games by Atlus.
